On 18 and 19 September 2024, the DI MATTEO Group took part in the 17th Global CemFuels Conference & Exhibition in Dublin, Ireland. Organised by Global Cement, the event brought together international experts from the cement and lime industries to discuss current developments and sustainable solutions related to alternative fuels.
Technical presentation by Dr-Ing. Luigi Di Matteo
A particular highlight was the technical presentation by Dr-Ing. Luigi Di Matteo, in which he shared practical insights into current challenges and solutions in alternative fuel preparation for the cement industry. Using selected projects and applications, he demonstrated how tailored engineering concepts can improve efficiency, reliability and process stability. The presentation led to in-depth technical discussions and valuable exchanges with international industry experts.
Award for Clelia Di Matteo
Another special moment of the event was the recognition of Clelia Di Matteo as “Personality of the Year” by Global Cement. The award acknowledges her long-standing presence, personal commitment and her role in international dialogue and networking within the cement and lime industry.
