Material handling on focus of the Cement Conference 2026
Alternative fuels, stable process operation and efficient material flow remain key topics in modern cement plants. At the IEEE-IAS/ACA Cement Conference 2026 in Fort Lauderdale, DI MATTEO was part of the international exchange on technical developments, plant operation and future-oriented bulk material processes.
Mayor visits
DI MATTEO Group in Beckum
Beckum’s mayor Michael Gerdhenrich and economic development officer Manuela Jakobs-Woltering visited the DI MATTEO Group to learn about current developments, economic challenges and the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for the Beckum business location.
Keynote SOLIDS 2026: Intelligent bulk material discharge
At the trade fair SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund 2026, Prof. Dr Dominik Aufderheide from South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences will present a keynote on “Intelligent bulk material discharge based on 3D vision”. The DI MATTEO Group supports the research project as an industrial partner.
Mechanical vs. pneumatic conveying
The transport of bulk materials presents different challenges in many industrial plants. Mechanical and pneumatic conveying systems each offer specific advantages. The appropriate technology for a given application depends on bulk material properties, conveying distances and process requirements.
