DI MATTEO Group at Global CemFuels in Milan, Italy
In September 2025, the DI MATTEO team attended the 18th Global CemFuels Conference & Exhibition in Milan – one of the most important international meeting points for the use of alternative fuels in the cement and lime industry.
Focus on innovation and efficiency
At stand 7, DI MATTEO presented its latest solutions for the preparation, conveying and dosing of alternative fuels – developed for maximum efficiency, reliability and sustainability. The modular systems help plant operators increase the share of alternative fuels while ensuring stable and safe processes.
Technical presentation by Dr Luigi Di Matteo
A particular highlight was the presentation by Dr Luigi Di Matteo entitled “Innovative products for cement industry alternative fuel preparation, handling, and dosing.” He provided insights into the company and demonstrated how experience, innovative thinking and practical solutions come together at DI MATTEO. Using selected projects, he illustrated how DI MATTEO technology makes fuel logistics in modern cement plants more efficient, sustainable and safe.
Plant visit at Heidelberg Materials
At the end of the conference, participants visited the Heidelberg Materials cement plant in Rezzato-Mazzano (Italy) – one of the largest and most modern plants in the region. A special highlight was a system developed, manufactured and installed by DI MATTEO, enabling the feeding of alternative fuels to both the calciner and the main burner. The project is considered a milestone in alternative fuel technology and underlines the DI MATTEO Group’s long-standing engineering expertise and innovative strength.
A valuable platform for exchange and networking
