Working together for better quality of life: supporting the “Brillen weltweit” initiative
More than 7,800 donated pairs of glasses are being distributed to people in need worldwide – together with local initiatives, the DI MATTEO Group supports a strong project that promotes quality of life and social participation.
Joint commitment to a global aid initiative
As part of the “Brillen weltweit” initiative, the Lions Club Beckum-Ahlen, Rotary Club Ahlen, Inner Wheel Club Ahlen-Münsterland and other supporters collected a total of 7,812 pairs of glasses. These donations are now being sent to countries where access to vision aids is urgently needed.
Logistical support from Beckum
The DI MATTEO Group supported the initiative by organising the safe transport of the collected glasses to Koblenz. From there, they continue their journey to regions in need. The aim is to make everyday life easier for people and open up new perspectives through improved vision.
A project with lasting impact
Thanks to the initiative, thousands of people gain access to better eyesight and improved quality of life. Special thanks go to Ilse Rottmann, whose personal commitment played a key role in driving the project forward. Without this dedication, the initiative could not have been realised on this scale.
