Working safely – with responsibility and commitment
Making safety tangible: at the Safety Day organised by DI MATTEO and Ehrhardt, everything centred on practical health protection, strong partnerships, lived responsibility – and a motivating sense of teamwork focused on safe working practices.

On Friday, 4 July 2025, occupational safety took centre stage at DI MATTEO and our subsidiary Ehrhardt. Together with our employees, we organised a comprehensive Safety Day with the aim of communicating safety-related topics in a practical, engaging and sustainable way.
A total of nine interactive stations provided insights into key aspects of occupational safety and health protection. Topics ranged from skin protection, hazardous substances, fire protection and first aid to correct lifting and carrying, the safe use of mobile scaffolding and ladders, handling electrical equipment, near-miss incidents and other safety-critical situations from everyday working life.
Expert support from strong partners
Our sincere thanks go to our external partners who contributed their expertise and helped shape the programme: Werksarztzentrum Oelde, Blumenbecker, Hilti, Pro Safety, Jetschin Occupational Safety Consulting and EHS Management Cologne. We would also like to thank our internal specialists, who ensured the successful implementation of the content with great commitment.
Open exchange – positive feedback
Alongside the technical input, personal interaction also played an important role. With good food and refreshing drinks, there was plenty of opportunity for informal exchange among colleagues. We are particularly pleased with the consistently positive feedback from our employees – a clear indication of how important and effective actively practised occupational safety is within the company.
Safe together – now and in the future
The Safety Day was a great success, not least thanks to the strong commitment of everyone involved. We see it as an important investment in the safety, health and motivation of our teams – and we are already looking forward to future formats that will continue to strengthen this vital topic.
