Application
Air Belt Conveyor uses an air cushion beneath the conveyor belt to reduce friction and lower energy consumption. It is particularly suitable for gentle and economical transport of bulk materials over short to long distances.

Efficient, low-wear bulk material conveying
DI MATTEO Air Belt Conveyors HoverBELT® enable economical bulk material transport over short and long conveying distances. Unlike conventional belt conveyors, the belt is not supported by idlers but glides on an air cushion generated by a compact fan unit. This significantly reduces the number of moving components, resulting in markedly lower wear and maintenance requirements.
Optimised belt guidance and extended service life
Low-friction belt guidance reduces belt tension and mechanical loads, contributing to extended belt service life. At the same time, stable and smooth belt tracking is ensured, minimising material backflow and supporting uniform conveying operation.
Low-maintenance, enclosed conveying system
The Air Belt Conveyor is designed as an enclosed, dust-tight system. This reduces dust emissions and protects the conveyed material from external influences. An optional self-supporting design eliminates the need for additional idlers and walkways. Various trough designs allow adaptation to different operating conditions.
