Application
The DiscSCREEN is designed for separation of oversize and foreign material from free-flowing bulk materials. It is installed upstream of subsequent equipment to ensure stable material flow and protect subsequent machinery.
Efficient oversize separation
The DI MATTEO DiscSCREEN separates oversize particles from the material stream by means of rotating screening discs. Fines pass through defined disc distances, while coarse material is discharged separately. The separation principle supports uniform throughput and reduces the risk of blockages or damage to downstream equipment.
Adaptable to different bulk materials
For optimal classification performance, the DiscSCREEN can be configured to suit specific bulk material properties. Disc geometry, materials, distances and arrangement are selected according to the application. If material requirements change, disc distances can be adjusted accordingly. Depending on installation constraints, a slightly inclined arrangement can be implemented to further support material flow.

The enclosed, dust-tight construction ensures durability and low maintenance requirements. The robust design supports high throughput rates and reliable operation. The modular concept allows system expansion in line with increasing capacity demands. In addition, speed adjustment enables adaptation of operating conditions to the specific separation task.
