Application
Double Flap Valves are used for controlled transfer and separation of free-flowing bulk materials between differential pressure zones. They are particularly suitable as discharge devices beneath filters, cyclones and comparable separation units.
Reliable infeed and outfeed
DI MATTEO Double Flap Valves enable continuous feeding and discharge of free-flowing bulk materials with defined leakage rates. The flap principle ensures controlled material transfer between two pressure zones, maintaining stable pressure differentials. Single, double or multiple Flap Valves configurations are available, depending on operating requirements.
Robust design for demanding applications
The design is suitable for abrasive and temperature-exposed media. Wear-optimised components and heavy-duty bearing arrangements support reliable operation under demanding conditions. Various actuation options – gravity-operated, electric, pneumatic or hydraulic – allow adaptation to process and control requirements.

Generous maintenance openings facilitate inspection and replacement of wear components, reducing downtime and simplifying service work. For elevated temperature requirements, the VULCANOS version is available as a specially adapted design.
