Application
The FlashDRYER is designed for continuous drying of bulk materials. By utilising available process heat and rapid drying within a pneumatic hot gas stream, it is particularly suitable for industrial processes with high throughput rates.
Efficient drying of bulk materials
The DI MATTEO FlashDRYER provides a flexible solution for drying bulk materials in a pneumatic hot gas flow. The modular design allows integration into existing process lines. Heavy particles such as stones or metal fragments are separated within the system, while the dried material is collected in a separation chamber or cyclone.
Compact and low-maintenance design
The FlashDRYER features a compact and robust design. As no moving parts are installed within the drying zone, operational reliability is supported and maintenance requirements are reduced. The system can be configured for either open or closed gas circuits. Depending on requirements, different fan arrangements are available. An integrated bypass system is available.
Versatile application options
The FlashDRYER is suitable for rapid and continuous drying of bulk materials with predominantly surface moisture. It is particularly designed for utilisation of existing hot gas sources, for example from cement coolers. Depending on bulk material characteristics, drying temperatures between approx. 100°C and 330°C can be realised. Throughputs of up to approx. 30 t/h are achievable, depending on configuration.
