ODM - Inline Air Separators AirSEP IPS
Efficient removal of heavy particles in pneumatic conveying systems using the DI MATTEO Inline Air Separator AirSEP
Application
The Inline Air Separator AirSEP is installed in pneumatic conveying lines to remove heavy particles from bulk material streams. The gravity-based separation principle ensures stable conveying conditions and defined separation without additional air injection.
Efficient separation in pneumatic conveying systems
The patented DI MATTEO Inline Air Separator provides targeted removal of heavy fractions within the conveying line. The system utilises gravity for efficient separation of light and heavy material components. After material feeding, the classifier is integrated directly into the pneumatic line, where heavy particles are discharged while the light fraction continues conveying without supplementary air supply.
Optimised conveying performance and energy efficiency
Precise separation stabilises the pneumatic conveying process and can improve combustion performance when handling alternative fuels, enabling higher substitution rates. The Air Separator is suitable for all pneumatically conveyable bulk materials and offers high availability combined with low operating and investment costs.
Compact and maintenance-friendly design
The compact design allows straightforward integration into existing systems. Bulk material-contacting components can be manufactured from highly wear-resistant materials and are replaceable when required. The specially designed inlet and outlet cones support long service life, while the maintenance-oriented design enables efficient servicing.
