ODM - Rotating Extraction Screws RotoSCREW ASF
Efficient and reliable discharge of bulk materials from silos and bunker installations using DI MATTEO Rotating Extraction Screws RotoSCREW
Application
The Rotating Extraction Screw RotoSCREW is designed for continuous discharge of bulk materials from silos and bunker installations. It is particularly applied for demanding bulk material properties and large storage diameters.
Efficient discharge of bulk materials
The DI MATTEO Rotating Extraction Screw RotoSCREW enables uniform discharge of bulk materials across the entire silo or bunker cross-section. Material is continuously reclaimed along the silo wall and fed to the discharge point, supporting stable process conditions and discharge according to the first-in, first-out principle.
Application-specific configuration for maximum efficiency
Depending on material properties and process requirements, the RotoSCREW can be manufactured in various configurations. For increased discharge capacity, a version with two opposing screw shafts is available, reducing material residence time within the silo and optimising material flow. Depending on design, storage volumes of up to approx. 5,000 m³ and conveying capacities of up to approx. 600 m³/h can be realised.
Robust, maintenance-friendly and durable
The wear-resistant design and optional wear protection coatings make the RotoSCREW suitable for abrasive bulk materials. The robust construction ensures high operational reliability, while the well-engineered design without rotating counter bearings minimises maintenance effort. This results in high system availability combined with low operating costs.
Benefits
- Uniform discharge across the entire bunker cross-section
- No circumferential counter-support for the screw required
