Application
The surface feeder is used for rapid material reception and downstream conveying of bulk materials and piece goods. It is suitable for feeding via trucks, cranes, wheel loaders or from continuously operating conveying systems and supports high throughput capacities.
Efficient bulk material reception
The surface feeder is designed as a special configuration of a Belt Chain Conveyor and optimised for fast material reception. A generously sized hopper allows the intake of large material volumes, depending on configuration. The wide belt surface supports uniform transfer, even with coarse or poorly flowing materials.
High-performance conveying
The robust design of the Surface Feeder enables reliable conveying of a wide range of bulk materials and piece goods. Coarse, poorly flowing or inhomogeneous materials can be transported safely and continuously. Depending on configuration, inclinations of up to 35° are achievable.
Low maintenance and economical operation
The surface feeder is engineered for low maintenance requirements and long service life. Reduced maintenance effort and comparatively low dust generation support economical operation and stable process conditions.
