Application
The Weigh Feeder System WeighTUBE® enables precise and stable gravimetric dosing of bulk materials by means of a speed-controlled screw conveyor. Screw speed is regulated exclusively by the bulk material weight within the weighing section.
Inspection / maintenance covers
For straightforward inspection and maintenance access, adequately sized inspection covers are provided at relevant locations, such as the hopper, weighing section and discharge housing.
Level monitoring
A level monitoring system is used for automatic detection of material level within the hopper and to prevent overfilling.
Agitator drive
Depending on requirements, the agitator is driven by a variable-speed drive unit controlled via frequency converter.
Screw drive
The screw drive is operated by a variable-speed drive unit, controlled via frequency converter, depending on process requirements.
Hopper
The hopper serves as an intermediate buffer to compensate for material flow fluctuations in upstream equipment. Depending on volume, it is equipped with an agitator to ensure continuous material discharge and is also used for automatic online calibration of the Weigh Feeder System.
Load cells – hopper
The external weighing circuit for the hopper provides precise and continuous control of pre-dosing into the hopperand enables automatic calibration during normal operation.
WeighTUBE® weighing section
The core component of the WeighTUBE® is mounted on separate load cells (internal weighing circuit), which automatically and directly regulate screw speed. Due to the low weight of the weighing section, accurate weighing results are achieved even when replaceable wear liners are installed.

Support frame
A robust support frame carries the complete WeighTUBE® system. In most cases, the system is delivered pre-assembled as a single unit for straightforward installation and commissioning.

Precise weighing and dosing of bulk materials
The DI MATTEO WeighTUBE® is a patented Weigh Feeder System designed for reliable weighing and dosing of a wide range of bulk materials. It is suitable for light to heavy, free-flowing to poor-flowing materials and, depending on design, can also be used for explosive bulk materials.
Innovative technology for high dosing accuracy
The WeighTUBE® principle regulates screw speed directly based on the bulk material weight within the weighing section. This enables high precision and operational flexibility, even with demanding materials such as alternative fuels. In contrast to conventional weighing systems, material build-up or screw wear does not influence measurement accuracy, as only the actual bulk material weight is recorded.
Maintenance-friendly design and intuitive operation
The robust mechanical design with proven components ensures long service life and low maintenance requirements. Control is provided by the in-house GravitAS system, preferably based on Siemens S7 with touch panel and remote access, enabling intuitive operation and simplified service.
