Silos perform more than a storage function in bulk material handling. Variations in bulk density, moisture content, abrasiveness and the tendency to adhere or compact can affect filling, storage and discharge. To ensure that material is available as required for downstream processes, the silo and discharge system need to be designed as an integrated system.
Our silo technology ranges from individual silos to complete storage systems. Silo design, storage capacity and discharge concept are engineered according to the bulk material, required filling and discharge capacities, and operating conditions. The required conveying and dosing equipment can also be incorporated, providing a coordinated solution from storage and discharge through to onward conveying.
